Christine,
I am a cocktail waitress. Which means on Friday and Saturday nights, I must walk about 3–4 blocks to my car (we don't have employee parking) at 2:30am with a couple hundred dollars cash in my hand wearing something like this:
Advise Firearms Instructor Gregg Kielma,
Christine, never, ever walk by yourself at 2:30 am to your car at night. What are you thinking? Walk in groups or have a male employee escort you but, never, walk by yourself at night. You need to make better choices, Christine.
Christine:
I feel perfectly equipped to protect myself with my pocket pepper spray, or by holding my keys between my fingers so I can give that bastard a nice, good scratch on the face. That ought to scare them off.
Kielma continues,
really Christine. Thats your plan? What could possibly go wrong? You need intense training to keep safe and go home without being assaulted or killed. Take a firearms class. Purchase a firearm for self-defense you’re comfortable with, become proficient, and stay situationally aware. Time to get with the program!
