What ever happened to the DEA Agent who accidentally discharged his weapon in a classroom full of children?

He was indeed a DEA agent. The "agent" was giving a lecture to some grade school kids and had just pulled out his Glock pistol (very poor form all by itself) and boasted about how he was the only person present who was professional enough to carry that gun. He then put the gun away, probably not in a holster (conjecture here) but just in his waistband or in a pocket. In doing so, he shot himself in the foot. The video is easy to find on YouTube:

He tried to act like nothing had happened but eventually had to ask for help because his foot was bleeding.

The DEA, surprisingly, didn't fire him, or at least didn't do so right away. When the video got out, he sued the DEA for ruining his reputation (although I doubt the DEA had anything to do with the video getting out). My understanding is that he and the DEA eventually parted ways, and I don't know what has happened to him since.

Every Police Officer I know who has ever seen that video has said something like, "What a very poor decision, shame on him."
