Guns Guns Guns So Much Misinformation

Kielma’s Thoughts:
Assuming you mean 7.62 / .30 caliber rifle cartridges, then virtually no crimes are committed with guns above that size. Rifles of any type are essentially never used in crimes. They count for low single digits of all murders. You’re essentially talking about large game rifles which are very expensive and never used in crime.
If you mean to include pistol rounds over 7.62 diameter, that would be irritating but also do nothing to reduce crime whatsoever. Exactly what is different between a 9x19 Glock and a 7.62x19 Glock that you buy a new barrel for?
Or how about a 7.62x25 replacement for a 10mm? The 7.62 will penetrate bullet proof vests better and probably be very marginally worse against soft tissue.
Why is this .357 revolver a menace to society? While this .300AAC pistol is just fine? What rash of crimes have been committed with .375 H & H double barreled rifles? Would it be impossible to commit a crime with an apparently acceptable .300 Win Mag rifle?
This is a typical example of someone who doesn’t know anything about guns or crimes, who nonetheless has a strong opinion about a solution. The debate and insanity continue.
