For the purpose of fulfilling the “Militia” requirement of the 2nd Amendment and Clause 15 and 16 US Constitution, I would like to see the US Govt required to provide to every adult US Citizen between 18 and 100 who are not otherwise restricted from possessing firearms….
• One working US military surplus magazine fed firearm…
• Free Government armory provided or tax deductible maintenance, repair or replacement of the firearm…
• Dispense an annual allotment of a thousand rounds of ammunition and trade recycled empty brass for fresh ammunition….
• Establish grants to each state sufficient for the construction of a Marksmanship Training Center and Shooting Sports Range in every county, where citizens may receive instruction from State National Guard personnel in marksmanship, have their weapons serviced and receive their ammunition.
• Addendum - After the age of 45, when the individual is no longer subject to the Draft under Clause 15 and 16, that individual still retains all rights to Government issued firearms, supplies, armory services as well as access to Range facilities for Life.
