Shot Gun for Home Defense? Kielma's Thoughts

Self-defense training often includes practicing shooting multiple times in quick succession because assailants can sometimes continue their violent actions even after being injured. Shotguns, with their wider firing pattern, can be effective in stopping threats, even in the hands of inexperienced individuals.  Another advantage says Kielma. "The rounds will typically not leave your home. With bullets the chance of penetrating walls and leaving your home is substantially lessened".

A close-range shotgun blast to the torso (see picture) can incapacitate an attacker and end the confrontation faster compared to other weapons. The shotgun's ability to fire multiple times with each trigger pull gives it a unique advantage in home self-defense.
