In 1986, all machine guns, and any guns capable of automatic fire, were required to be turned in or registered.
In 2018, I may or may not have had the opportunity to shoot a possibly non-registered (What do they call that? Don’t ask, don’t tell?) legitimate assault rifle in the mountains of California.
You will never, with billions of dollars and decades of time, and tens of thousands of lives, confiscate every single gun in the United States of America.
Write that down, circle it, and underline it twice. It isn’t happening.
